Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains what information OptimizeYourQuiz.com (operated by "Drake Holdings, LLC" and How To Move The Needle — "we", "us", or "our") collects, how we use it, and who we share it with. It describes what the site actually does today. By using the site, you consent to the practices described here. Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into, and subject to, our Terms of Use.

Information We Collect

We only collect information you choose to give us through one of two forms:

1. Free quiz audit form. When you request an audit, we collect your email address, your store URL, the URL where your quiz lives, and which quiz software you use.
2. Optimization checklist opt-in. When you request the 27-point checklist, we collect your email address.

That's it. We do not ask for, or store, names, passwords, phone numbers, payment or credit-card details, mailing addresses, or any account credentials, because the site has no accounts, logins, or paid products.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you submit to deliver what you asked for: to prepare and send your quiz audit report, to send you the optimization checklist, and to follow up with related, relevant guidance about improving your quiz. You can opt out of these emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message.

Service Providers We Share With

To run the service we share your information only with the processors below, and only so they can perform their function:

1. Kit (formerly ConvertKit) — our email service provider. The email address you submit (and, for the audit form, your store URL, quiz URL, and quiz software) is sent to and stored by Kit so we can email you and manage the list. See Kit's privacy practices at kit.com/privacy.
2. Cloudflare — hosts this website and runs our audit service at audit.optimizeyourquiz.com, where your submitted audit data is processed to generate your report.

Local Storage & Cookies

The site uses your browser's localStorage to remember two things on your own device: that you've unlocked the checklist, and which checklist items you've ticked off. This data stays in your browser and is not sent to us.

The site itself sets no cookies. We run no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no advertising of any kind.

Third-Party Requests When Pages Load

To display our pages, your browser loads a few resources directly from third parties, which by necessity receive your IP address as part of any web request:

1. Google Fonts — for the typefaces used across the site.
2. logo.dev — for the brand logo images shown on the homepage.
3. Cloudflare — for hosting and, on the audit page, the audit API.

We Never Sell Your Data

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the processors listed above, solely to deliver the service you requested. We may also disclose information if required by a valid legal process, such as a subpoena or court order.

Minors

This site is intended for business owners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, please do not submit any personal information.

Your Choices

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any message. To have your information removed from our records, or to ask what we hold about you, email us at privacy@howtomovetheneedle.com and we'll take care of it. You can also clear the site's localStorage data at any time through your browser settings.

Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the state of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and Federal courts located in Durango, CO for any dispute arising under it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the effective date below and post the updated policy on this page. Material changes won't be applied retroactively to information already collected.
